Mummy's Funky Friday has teamed up with the über-cool dudes at Lenovo to give MyIdeaLife readers the chance to not only get out of the house, but attend one of the coolest Sydney events of the year: The Bondi Short Film Festival. And if that is not incentive enough to get involved they have included a VADO HD Pocket Video Camera. Small and easy enough to carry with you so you never miss those crazed moments we all want to see on YouTube or Funniest Home Videos.
The event is near sold out giving some indication of the calibre of the 14 filmmakers that will be showcased in Bondi Pavilion on Saturday November 26th. So get commenting and liking to be in the running!
For your chance to win just answer this question in the comments below:
WHAT'S YOUR DREAM NIGHT OUT? and like the Lenovo and MyIdeaLife Facebook pages

My dream night out involves good friends, yummy food, no kids and lots of laughs!

My dream night out would be to attend a fund raising gala with my partner.
ReplyDeleteDream night out: Out with Mr Fox and friends (and none of us have a curfew with the babysitter). We happen to run into Madonna who decides we simply MUST be new best friends. And then we all go dancing.
ReplyDeleteYou said dream night, right?!
I did say dream, so the more fantasy the better - loving it! Nx
ReplyDeleteMy dream night out would be camping with my kids and husband in Washington state. Being all rugged up on the side of some mountain, gazing out at the view of pine trees and streams, sitting around a fire with marshmallows and one of those cast iron toasted sandwich makers, with dairy milk in bread.
ReplyDeleteThen putting the kids to bed, and sitting in my camping chair with my boatman, just enjoying the view and the serenity, and keeping an eye out for bears.
I finally got my dream night out last night with my hubby. We had a couple of nice cocktails and just got to sit and chat without the kids interrupting or arguing in the background. HEAVEN!!
ReplyDeleteI am so with the whole simple night out with hubby and no kids Tracy - it's amazing how basic your dreams become when the little things are taken away! Then again camping is the best Jess, maybe not with the potential of bears though LOL Nx
ReplyDeleteUm I can't really write our dream night out here, hehehe not PG rated hahaha
ReplyDeleteMy dream night out would be taking my kids to see the parade at Disney World (or DIsney Land). I saw it when I was 20 ad LOVED it so much. I can just imagine how excited they would be.
ReplyDeleteThat or skiing in Colorado and having hot chocolate near the fire in a private cabin.
(Whlist they are my dream nights I plan on making them happen one day!)
My dream night out is sushi, movies and finish with coffee and cheesecake.
ReplyDeletea beautiful evening by the sea side having fun at the fun park and watching the sea shimmer in full moonlight
ReplyDeletemum babysitting... then dinner, water view, hubby, friends, good wine, dancing. - gotta have a dream ;)
ReplyDeleteps (I'll pop over & like the two facebook pages from my personal page Lisa Jamieson)
Walking along a beach in Hawaii and seeing a huge mob dance, then on to a club for drinks and a chance to bust out my own groovy moves. Afterwards a midnight swim with my girlfriend in the moon clad ocean. 0430983018. waynod@live.com.au
ReplyDeleteA dreamy, openly gay Sir Lancelot (dream Knight out, get it? I kill me :p)
ReplyDeleteMy dream night out would be going with my whole family somewher fab, like The Eiffel tower! We are never all in the one place at the one time, so that would be great :)
ReplyDeleteIn my dream night out, X picks me up and takes me to the pub. I drink eight schooners in two hours whilst she talks to me about football and I look at her boobs. (She is impressed with my knowledge of football and amazingly fails to notice me looking at her boobs.) Then we go back to my place and she gives me some sleeping tablets. I wake up fully rested the next morning to find she has mown the lawn, washed the car, done the washing and food shopping and has entertained my kids.
ReplyDelete(X can be anyone who likes showing a bit of flesh. Probably someone famous though but I'm not fussy)
dance party on the beach and then lying under the stars being held in my would be boyfriends arms, around a bonfire at midnight with some vodka
ReplyDeleteI love how even Males priorities change with children, not a mention of anything r-rated but lawns mowed, shopping done and kids looked after make the cut, hilarious Mallard! Thought of a bonfire, hugs and vodka's a bit dreamy - thanks Sam!
ReplyDeleteMy dream night out would be at a night time picnic, with good Tasmanian wine, seafood - and hubby, of course!
ReplyDeleteMy dream night out is just a night out with hubby and me and a romantic dinner, but we dont have relatives so nobody to take care of the kids so... at this stage of my life my dream night out is a romantic dinner in the garden after the kids go to bed and me and hubby enjoy a nice dinnet, obviously adn a good wine.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to watch a funny family movie together after a great restaurant. I'd enjoy it more if the kids were with me, rather than wondering if they're behaving themselves with someone else.
